Rev Fr Mantovani died on 19th May 1967 at the age of 55.
Rev Fr Schlooz SDB, another great Salesian Missionary helped the Burmese repatriates.
He built small Chapels for the people to pray.
This was erected as a Parish 1981.
The present Church was built and consecrated on 18th March1984.
